AU Meme - Day 22 - Horror

Horror is just not my genre. This is because I am a screaming coward and entirely okay with admitting it.
That being said, the two genres where I spend most of my time (sci fi and fantasy) are often tinged with horror.
You've got Doctor Who which has always enjoyed terrifying people, from the Daleks and the original Autons to the Horror of Fang Rock and the Curse of Fenric through to things I shall refer to as "Are you my Mummy?"
Marvelverse, as well as its Blade-related vampire tinges, does body horror and the occasional fine bit of creeping dread. Star Trek does the same.
Then you have the wrestling, where you can pick your poison - there's zombies, pyromancers, Frankenstein's monsters, the entire Undead Realm nonsense (heavy metal umlauts definitely included), vampires, the Boogeyman, more hillbilly cults than you can shake a stick at, people who spit poison, zombies who spit poison (no really did we ever figure out what Su Yung was) and whatever Danhausen's very nice, very evil deal is.
A horror AU isn't really an AU in any of my fandoms.
