A number of strange things had happened to their group during their travels, the Kundan appearing next to them and the virtual reality of Outo for instance. However, turning into fish was a step too far even for them.

But that was the only way to described what had happened to them when they landed in this world. Fai was enjoying himself, a laughing ray swooping and diving. The Princess was a sparkling koi.

Kurogane isn't sure what sort of fish the kid and the Manju bun were, where he was from fish were good for eating, and he'd not needed to identify them beyond them being dangerous or poisonous. He also has no idea how Monkona looks so much like Mokona, even fishified.

"My what big teeth you have, Kuro-pon." Kurogane bared the aforementioned teeth in a grin at Fai, who was taking this far too lightly. It was unspeakable. Kurogane just hoped this was also some weird virtual simulation.
