I wasn't sure if the meme meant trading places like the film or a body swap like Freaky Friday.

I don't think "fake it till you make" it works in superheroes or wrestling - although the idea of a superhero faking it long term, rather than 'ack, a villain has depowered me' is free to a good home.

Freaky Friday swaps, other than being fiendishly hard to write, are canonical in Doctor Who, and features in an episode of Farscape. Fandom has had great fun going to the place that the episode was only allowed to hint at (it was Farscape, of course it went there).
