So some of the train companies still do the thing of naming their trains. Sometimes they have really cool names, like one of the West Coast travelling to the South West trains was named for Jason Leonard.

Sometimes they're done as part of a promotion for something, which I suspect is how this train got its name.

However it happened, I ended up on a Virgin pendelino called "X-Men: Days of Future Past". I may have squeed. I definitely took a picture. Sorry for the poor quality, I was literally running for the train (Euston's way of doing things has many issues).

Because I am also a hopeless member of the Twitterati I also tweeted, much to the amusement of whoever was manning the Virgin Trains twitter account. I like to give them some variety in their twitter feed :)

Why, a steam train of course. The why should be obvious. Because they're wonderful.

Or a flying one. Or one that could lay it's own tracks and pick them up again.

Why, yes, I am slightly too fond of steam trains.

RL going forwardly. Cells misbehaving, but then again, when do they ever behave? However, I didn't break the NMR machine. Which is good. Admittedly that was because I was mostly just sitting next to the person running it, because it's a different system to the one I'm used to using and I haven't had my training on it yet, but I still got to take my sample out. Yay!

My queerfest fic is finished. I'm not sure it's any good, it still doesn't have a title, and I know almost no-one will read it (minor character femme-slash gen~ish).

Other than that, I've got one 50KinkyWays fic that's finished but needs some going over (help, still can't write Punk).

I also owe a couple of people meme answers. Sorry about that.
