May. 7th, 2005 10:27 pmDear St. Helens board when the fans object, when the rest of the board objects, when even the Wigan coach thinks you're being a little bit too harsh it might be an idea to reinstate the coach.
In short the chief exec and the chairman have suspended the Saints coach nominally for swearing loudly at everyone, but actually just because he doesn't get on with them.
The fans are objecting to this. Loudly, with a 1 hour long sit in after the last match. Saints fans have boycotted matches for less.
We had an internet outage which disturbed me greatly.
Mostly been revising and working on fic.
Dr. Who was good tonight. Suitably bizarre.
CSI: NY was also good, mainly because it had Frick and Flack (or Danny and Flack) working on the case together. Much Danny love, and much Flack love. Much NY love in general.
Lizzie did you watch the Chelsea celebration today? I tell you that Didier Drogba looks unnervingly like Denise Lewis, to the point of me wanting to know if she was a fan when I saw him.
BBC also said that Joe Cole was the only player on the pitch who had been any good.

Date: 2005-05-07 11:16 pm (UTC)Oh, and the BBC's right, Joe Cole was the only player on the pitch who was any good today. John Terry was okay but nothing terrific, and Charlton, though nowhere near as abysmal as they were against United last week, were basically just making up the numbers. Of course, I'm slightly biased in Joe Cole's favour, you understand.

Date: 2005-05-08 12:36 am (UTC)*cough*Mourinho*cough*but in her case... hmm. I think it was Strictly Come Dancing that did it. And y'know, I think it's "Furryhands" just because it so very nearly rhymes with Ferdinand, nothing more to it than that. But God, it cracks me up. It's not even that funny!Hmm, you should have, if just for the way Joe played - more people need to appreciate him, he's really quite good lately. And the half-hour of celebrations was actually quite amusing, what with Didier and his tiny little kids and Eidur Gudjohnsen's very, VERY blonde family. Not to mention Joe climbing on the goalposts. heh. Hmm, no, I'm not a Chelsea fan. *headdesks*
