At the minute I'm feeling very sympathetic to Frala's hockey transfer woes because it appears that Saints are letting Tommy Martyn and Paul Newlove go (and sending Tim Jonkers off on loan).

I can see their reasons for letting them go, much though I think they're wonderful players. Tommy is forever getting injured (he's broken his arm for the 3rd time in 2 seasons) and Newlove is also prone to ligament damage. They're also getting on a little, and that means they have to pay them more. Which given that Saints have already had 2 points docked for exceeding the salary cap (and the usual state of in the red-ness that we've come to expect) is part of the reason why they're being pushed out of the door.

The trouble being of course that both of these guys (and I think Jonkers could grow into being thus) are match winners. So if they go, I can see Saints losing more matches, which is hardly going to help the financial situation.

I fear the golden age of a couple of years ago has gone. It was nice while it lasted.

How come every other team gets golden eras that last 10 years and we only got 5. There's something wrong there.

Score Update: Oh fuck, lost to Wigan 34-38. At home. Kill me now.

Would someone explain to me why I have St. Anger floating through my head? Not even all of it, just the bit where he's singing 'Saint Anger stole my hope.' Least I think that is what he's singing.

How does this strike you as a line up for a chat-show - Charlotte Church, Marilyn Manson and Simon Cowell. Was rather good, not least of all because the host, Jonathan Ross is a very funny man. Trouble is of course that the rest of the family don't think so.

But yes anyway, Manson was interesting. And Jonathan Ross and Simon Cowell were flirting. Most disturbing. I think that's just because of the way Jonathon Ross is.

But yes it was enough to make me consider watching the next Pop Idol show, but then I remembered I really can't stand reality TV.

And the show finished with a rather rousing rendition of Mobscene.

Talking about Mobs, the Tommy Dreamer side-step to the 'Baci Di Amore e l'odio' is up now at http://disc.server.com/discussion.cgi?id=200258;article=281

And is called 'Il bacio del Guanto Contro Cuoio'

Oh and to finish, I love Zwan. And particularly Jimmy Chamberlain's drumming.

My SD thoughts go like this )

Seeing Bottom Line made me realise I may be a fan of O'Haire, Benoit et al, but I am a raving Kane fangirl. Because I was shouting at the screen telling Austin to stop.

About the MTV movie awards.

LOTR rules all. Andy Sekeris (I can not spell that name) rocks. Adrian Brody sure dresses down nice. Don't know who to be more jealous of over that kiss.

Queen Latifah should have won best actress, heck anyone other than Kirsten Dunst should have. And also Kirsten dearest, when one doesn't have it up front to carry off that style of top it makes sense not to wear it.

Oh and dearie, thank the dresser on Spiderman because he made you look more bust-a-licious than you are in RL.

PS: Am slightly tipsy so will disavow any of these comments if they come up in a court of Law.

PPS: Anywhere else I will stick up for them :)
