I'm slightly chirpier than expected, mostly because laptop, although it is still on its last legs, is still functional as long as I don't connect it to the net. Therefore I have rescue most of the fics on it and the tattered remains of the novel that I'm still working on (and have finally figured out what the ending is). Rescuing the music is an on-going process.

Also, most of the Christmas presents for people are sorted. And it's now t-5 for going home for Christmas.
