The Good:
Anderson vs Bram, because Anderson suddenly remembered that matches go better if both parties bother.
James Storm being evil. Because he can do evil. Well. Because he's not trying to be cool, he is just evil.
The Doll House vs Gail Kim match.
Bobby Roode being adorable, repeatedly, on the topic of Austin Aries.
The Aries vs Spud match. In fact everything from minute 45 to minute 60 in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjvlI-ucBSQ). First, it's actually a good match, because Aries brings it. He makes a box around the ears look as though it hurts, which it does in RL but a lot of wrestlers don't make it look as bad as it is. And Spud keeps up with him and does the little things that matter like stretching his neck out after he's been in the Last Chancery. Listen to that crowd. Then there's the non-mat-based stuff. Because Aries is so obnoxiously arrogant that you want Spud to beat him, even if you don't want Aries to leave, and then when he loses, even though he's sad about it, Aries's such a good sport. And then Bobby Roode coming to talk to him. And just ... seriously, I'd link it directly but TNA haven't put up the clip because ... TNA are idiots. It's minute 58-60 in here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjvlI-ucBSQ It is an amazing bit. I miss Aries already.
The Middling:
The title match. I don't like random gimmick matches. I don't like throwaway gimmick matches. I don't like ladder matches (or rather, matches with ladders in) when they're done for no good reason. But it wasn't terrible.
The Bad:
The obvious corporate-fu that is about to occur. It's like, Dixie, when has Jeff Jarrett (character not dude) ever been a good guy for longer than three minutes. You don't find it in the slightest bit suspicious that he's about when evil befalls Bully Ray?
I think it's that TNA are yet again going for corporate-fu. And I'm thoroughly sick of it. And the obviousness of what's going on which requires several people to look stupid (and not in the known character flaw, stupid good, Sting way) for it to work.
