I am also the only person who likes the Kazon, and I am very fond of Klingon Klaptrap (tm the Cynic's Corner).
One of the things I like about Star Trek is that it normally lets us see the good side and the bad side of the various species we run into, if not on first encounter, then later on. Even the Romulans, who tend to be an eternal external threat, get to be honourable sometimes (e.g. Balance of Terror, the first one where they show up).
