OTP: Thor/Jane. Because, OMG, he just lights up when he looks at her, or thinks about her and he's so careful with her. And Jane does the same and she will rend you limb from limb with science if you mess with him and they make me all <3 <3 <3.

Runner-up + Honorable mention(s) + Crack pairing(s): I'm combining all of these because my two runners-up are kind of cracky, and it's not really a 'shippy fandom for me.

Entirely one-sided Selvig/Thor: Partly the fault of an lgbtfest prompt which I swear I will fill one of these days, and the idea of a Selvig who has given up everything to be a professor and then suddenly this inhumanly attractive, adorable hunk hurricanes through his life and he's not going to do anything about it because it would upset Jane and he loves her like a daughter, but that doesn't stop him loving Thor.

Volstagg/Sif - Which may have been jossed by the second film but this sort of really courtly courting and there are flowers and verse and Fandral and Hogan helping out and Sif going 'is this all really necessary, just say you want to split a boar and mead with me'.

Ship everyone else seems to like, but I don't:

1) Movie-verse Sif/Loki. Listen I dig that they are thing in comics-verse but comicsverse != movieverse and they've exchanged maybe 3 sentences in the films and two of those were threats. This does not a ship make for me.

2) Darcy/Ian the Intern. Because it squicks me something chronic. I think the problem is that no-one on the writing staff did their research on the UK academic system so don't realise that Darcy is kind of responsible for his grades and that makes it wrong. Matters are really not helped by the fact that I've had several project students and so I know first hand how squicky it is.
