Know Your Enemy and the Manics

I said at the time that Know Your Enemy would go down as an over-looked classic, because it is so good, but so different from the other Manics albums (actually, point of interest, no two Manics albums sound the same. Even if you don't know a track, you can normally guess which album it's off.) that there was a backlash because isn't the new Holy Bible or the new Everything Must Go.

Posting some tunes to tumblr, and *foolishly* reading the comments, it seems like Manics fans are coming round to my point of view.

Randomly, at one point in considering writing an AU version of Lou Reed in an RPG, I had considered using the plot of a movie to make him AU (I ended up not making him AU in the way I had planned), someone thought I had been inspired by Richey's disappearance.
