Fencing Rant

The bloody idiots have clashed the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sports) individuals with the Merseyside. Which does at least explain why there's so few entries in the women's foil (which is the one that has a same day clash, not just a same weekend clash). Seriously, it's a British open where 1/4 of the entrants are Danish (as of today, this might still change).
There's two reasons why I am pissed off. One is selfish and one is not.
1 - There goes a lot of the possible points I could win, and if there's a lower entry, even if I do as well as last year, I'll get less points anyway.
2 - I do not like what this might do the MOFT's bottom line. The MOFT is one of the best competitions in the UK. It's cheap, there's two rounds of poules, and, and this is the best thing about it, they provide referees. If it stops making money because of the fucking BUCS and then stops full stop I will be somewhere beyond pissed off.
