On paper, it's the sort of thing I should love, but I ended up not really caring what happened. Then I watched the A-Team, and that was basically everything I wanted this to be.
Boyfriend says it's at least partially because it suffers from Potential Sequel Syndrome. I'm just disappointed that even Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Idris Elba couldn't save it :(
Exactly. I watched the opening bit, went 'this is a bit darker than I expected', and then the rest was meh. Especially as the Losers I was most interested in either had no lines (because they're silent, sniper types) or were played by British actors and well we all know about British actors in Hollywood.
Oh dear, British actors in Hollywood. They're either suddenly and mysteriously armed with an American accent or inexplicably villainous and it drives me mad!
To be honest, it seems like the people who enjoy this film are the ones writing oodles of Cougar/Jensen.
Unrelated to the previous conversation, I think you'll like the photo at 14:25 on the BBC live text (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/30516079)
