How I FEEEEEL about this character - Answering this honestly, if not quite the way I think the meme intended. I always feel that I don't give AJ Styles enough praise. Because he is awesome, but he was never one of my guys. He isn't Chris Harris or James Storm, who I go crazy over, but he's so good. And always gave a good match. Always. I've watched far too much TNA, and no matter how bad the everything around him got, when he was in the ring, it would at least be solid. I mean, yes, there were matches that were only bland, but when those are a wrestler's bad matches, you're on to a winner.

And he always gave it his best shot out of the ring, even when the angle was terrible, like the Clare Lynch mess.

All the people I ship romantically with this character - Twig has got to me ;) so I shall say Christopher Daniels. It was the 22nd September 2011 Impact that convinced me. It was just how much having one more match with AJ Styles meant to Daniels (it's the one with the infamous 'I am not your plus one' promo).

My non-romantic OTP for this character - Not sure. There's lots of characters Styles works with because you know what you're getting with him. There's a sort of decency, like, even when he's a bad guy, there are things to which he will not stoop. And he's got a very particular accent and way of saying things. I will say, with regards to recent stuff, I would dearly have loved the sitcom of AJ Styles and Rockstar Spud's road trip across America.

My unpopular opinion about this character - I don't think I have unpopular opinions about AJ. Certainly not amongst the people on my lj f-list, who are of course the only people online with good taste in wrestling :)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I would have liked his last two years in TNA not to be wasted on two entirely sucky angles, by which I mean the Clare Lynch mess and the AJ Styles is totally not Sting mess.

However, if he's a free agent and in Japan, I would love to see AJ Styles vs Kota Ibushi. As in, New Japan, set it up and I will buy the damn DVD, my lack of Japanese be damned.
