Revenge and TNA
Feb. 21st, 2014 01:24 amI have been watching both, it's just that incoherent flailing at one, and a level of mostly approving bemusement at the other do not count as constructive comment.
I find myself shouting at the TV again.
Mostly it's of the "No, Nolan, Patrick is bad news." Which I know puts in me in a minority but an awful lot of Patrick's behaviour is raising giant red lights with me.
Not that I have much room to talk since the show is slowly converting me to being Emily/Aiden 'shipper, or rather a Aiden-loves-Emily and it would at least not be the end of the world 'shipper. Mostly because while Emily still loves Jack and Jack loves Emily, I can't see it working out and I like Margot (I don't care how the show spells it) and oh I don't want to see Aiden get hurt. Which I think is a sign that the show is working.
I also fear that Emily is not going to be able to get her revenge. And I want her to, so much.
Nolan slowly turning in to Batman (or Batnerd) is mildly disturbing because I want him to get out of this in one piece. But at least what passes for his morals still remains.
TNA meanwhile, despite my deep disapproval of there being yet more business fu, has had two whole episodes that were mostly good. Which is odd. I mean, there were things I didn't like, like the whole Sabin/Velvet Sky mess and Sam Shaw (serial killer in training), and I thought the Bully Ray stuff went too far, but they've given me a new knockout (Alpha Female, large, terrifying, German) and that's to be applauded, even if I wanted her to smack Sabin. They also seem to be giving me Samoa Joe, the saviour of TNA. And Rockstar Spud, Magnus, EC3, Bobby Roode, Zeema Ion and the Bromance are always worth a watch.
