Before my next three posts which will all be sports-related and a mixture of angry and sad, I thought I'd bring a happy sports post:

F1 - Bruno Senna in free practise 2 at the Korean GP >>Bruno had just done a nice 360 spin at turn 4 trying to get off the escape road via the wet kerbs.

Team come on radio: "Bruno, do you think it's near time to change to slicks?"

Bruno: "NO!"<< http://sidepodcast.com/post/track-walks-and-amusing-talks-on-christines-rankings-this-week

Similarly, Marussia Virgin Racing giving the on-track medics free coffee and tea.

Rugby Union - >>New Zealand legend Jonah Lomu stunned Australia's players by dropping in on a training session ahead of their World Cup third-place play-off match against Wales. Lomu, 36, who was recently discharged from hospital after being admitted with kidney failure, mingled with the players and lifted the spirits of a Wallaby camp all but inconsolable after their semi-final defeat by the All Blacks on Sunday.<<

Things that make me happy about this:
1) Jonah Lomu is out of hospital. And reasonably healthy. We should all rejoice.
2) That he went to see the Aussie players. Not the New Zealand team, the Aussies. And the Aussies hold him in enough respect that they let him, and that it worked.
