Does anyone who reads this ever do sciences? Or maths, or anything else graph related? Because I have a graphs question I need to ask. Okay I haven't got a value for a reactant at 0 cm because the reaction wouldn't work without it. Does that mean I can put a value of 0 rate at 0 concentration?
Thanks for any help
Okay first it was Man Utd v Juventus, my Mum is a United fan, and I like Juventus (to a point beyond insanity, according to my Mum). Now my Nan normally cheers for the English side unless there are exceptional circumstances. There are exceptional circumstances - the Man U manager kicked a football boot, and it hit David Beckham square in the head, and he refuses to apologise. David Beckham is my Nan's favourite player so she's cheering for Juve.
Of course the match wasn't fair because Juve had half their first team players out with the flu or injuries.
Decent enough match despite Man U winning. I can't complain about the ref since he didn't give Man U a penalty when he should have done so I forgive him.
I had however forgotten quite how much I miss Italian football. And Juve in particular.
It all got rather juvenile (lol) in our house, lots of insults flying. Can't wait till tomorrow, since I left the score in my Mum's breakfast bowl.
But yes - Nedved, Tachanardi, Davids, Ferrera, Zhanero played well. Pessoto, Comanciro (dude spelling is sooo far wrong), Montero did the best they could. Trezegeut is automatically excluded from condemnation as he was playing with the 'flu. He is now officially a sweetie darling. (Guess what caused my Mum to say beyond the point of insanity)
The manager also had the flu. Not a good week on the illness front.
Man Utd were as villanous as ever. It's quite funny really, I hate the team but like all but 2 of the players.
That's it other than the traditional Nedved is still beautiful, Solskjaer still looks like a pixie. Roy Keane is still evil. Paul Scholes has once again got a groin injury and Del Piero is still there on the subs bench despite being injured.
Thanks for any help

Date: 2003-02-19 04:10 pm (UTC)O'Shea rocked. Davids (though I love the guy dearly for no apparent reason) nearly gave our lovely Mancunian boys a free goal. Beckham was a good little trooper despite his prior run-in with Fergie...
And that was SUCH a PENALTY!! *screams* How is it not a penalty when a player's about to score and the keeper brings him down? And Scholes. If there was ever a good time to hit the post, that was not it. It would've been better if he just hadn't been there - maybe there would've been a penalty then, and the keeper could technically have been sent off... That would've been interesting. Half the team out with 'flu then the keeper's red carded. lol.
Just because you didn't, I'm condemning Trezeguet. Shouldn't have played if he had the 'flu, silly man ;)
Solskjaer will *always* look like a pixie, just as he will always look twelve years old. Similarly, Nedved will probably always be beautiful. Until he loses his hair and gets wrinkly. hehehehhee. Roy Keane's my hero! Paul Scholes has possibly the most frequently injured groin in English football (makes you wonder what he gets up to, doesn't it!)
I watched the match with my parents. My dad sat on the edge of the sofa for the whole match, tense as a really tense thing because he was sure Man U were going to lose (after the Arsenal debacle, would we have been surprised?) and my mum's ill and slept all the way through except for when we woke her up screaming insanely at the TV. Stupid ref... *mutters* Stupid Scholes.
But I'm with you on the missing Italian football thing. When I actually had a TV of my own I used to enjoy watching. Okay so it was generally parts of matches at obscene times of the early morning, but I loved Italian football! There's something kinda spellbinding about the Italian style as compared to our generic English game... *sighs wistfully*
Can you tell that I didn't know whether I was supposed to support Juve or Man U? I was so torn!!

Date: 2003-02-19 04:21 pm (UTC)O'Shea is really good. Davids is loveable just because, I think. I might rag on Beckham sometimes but he's a good player, and he doesn't object to being knocked about a bit.
It was definitely a penalty. I'm thanking my lucky stars over it though. Interesting is one word for it. Plus if they're playing Marchandani, it's not a good sign. (Love him to pieces of course, he's the ancient standby, but it's not a good sign)
LOL about Trezeguet.
>>Solskjaer will *always* look like a pixie, just as he will always look twelve years old. Similarly, Nedved will probably always be beautiful. Until he loses his hair and gets wrinkly. hehehehhee.<<
LOL, and of course.
>>Roy Keane's my hero!<< Bah and fie upon him.
>>Paul Scholes has possibly the most frequently injured groin in English football (makes you wonder what he gets up to, doesn't it!)<< Yes, inbetween him and Steven Gerrard. Don't they have stretches for this sort of thing. I really don't want to think about what they get up to ;)
Watching football with parents is one of the joys of football though, isn't it.
My lack of football of any kind is a stupidly self enforced one due to Mum complaining that I watched too much of it during the World Cup, I am trying to go without league football for a whole season. Italian football does have this hypnotic quality to it.
There's nothing worse than having two teams you like playing each other.
