Did not have a good day yesterday; housemate who promised me a lift had accidentally over-booked his car so I volunteered to walk to fencing, my spare foil has gone missing (okay, so I stupidly left it in Coventry) and my fencing kit bag has split.

The tiny sadist who we call our Captain came up with a real screamer of a warm-up. Run 16 metres, 20 press ups, run back, run, 15 sit ups, run back, run, 10 squats, run back, run, 5 squat thrusts, run back. Then run, 5 press ups, sprint back, run 10 sit ups, sprint, run, 15 squats, sprint, 20 squat thrusts, run back. Yes, I know it's good for me, but right now, large chunks of me do not work.
