There's nothing that makes it easier to say no to the last cookie than know that you've lost 3 cm off your waist in a month. That you'd got to the point where you could is bad.

Other than that, someone remind me that going for a massage is a waste of time and money because my back muscles will re-knot the second the massage stops.

And it's nice to see something, because, as it's a very gym based thing, the weight is moving around before it goes so I've gained a couple of kilos rather than losing them, although I've hopefully started the losing swing now.
