2. Paul, Duncan, Jessica Dune, as guessed by

3. Billy Blake, Michael Deacon, Verity are from The Echo by Minette Walters. I cannot reveal more as it is a mystery novel.
4. Walter, Zimmerman, CD are from STARK by Ben Elton. I think he's a good writer. I may be alone in this, and I do not care.
5. Hall, Durham, Risley are from Maurice by E.M. Forster. This is one of the ones where I cheated a little, as I think Maurice, Clive and Risley would have given it away.
6. Sebastian, Boy, Julia are from Brideshead Revisted
7. Irene, Clay, Hilton are all characters from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes may well have been some of the first non-children's books I ever read back in Vienna. It was a little powder blue book with Jeremy Brett's Holmes on the cover, with the stories, plus some questions about them in. The stories were the Golden Pince-Nez, the Norwood Builder and the Six Napoleons.
8. Fernand, Morel, Eugenie are characters from The Count of Monte Cristo also by Alexandre Dumas.
9. Stanley, Arthur, Mom are from Flat Stanley a book which I still adore to this day. I have a three-fer book, of three Flat Stanley stories and I enjoy re-reading them when I need something to wind down with.
10. David, Ebeneezer, Alan are three of the main characters from Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson. They are David Balfour, his villainous uncle Ebeneezer and Alan Breck Stuart, who is one of the many reasons for the swordfighting thing.
