A few small pieces of help

1) Where would a character like Pepper Potts be most likely buy her underwear? A company that has stores would be awesome.
2) A quick guess as to whether I've got a Chinese name the right way around.

Basically, I'm movie-versifying the Mandarin. Mostly because I need a villain, and he was always the Iron Man villain in the cartoons. So I've gone with giving him one of his aliases, as researched on wikipedia. The alias in question is Zhang Tong. Now I've assumed they've gone with surname first, given name second, as traditional, but while I know Zhang is a surname, I've never seen Tong as a first name. Is it just Marvel being Western-centric edjits or can Tong be used as first name?


It's going well so far, the plot that decided to take front stage at about 4500 words is nearly wrapped up and I gave myself a Chekov's McGuffin that will enable the ending. It should be about 7000 words when finished and it should be ready to go off and be betad by Sunday.

Not to make what should be an easy answer complicated... Pinyin is the standardized pronunciation system for Mandarin (the spoken language). But when it comes to names? Names tend to romanized the way it's pronounced, which can vary massively. The common surname "Wong" can be romanized as "Huang," "Wan," and even, believe it or not, "Chong," and they'd all be the same written character. So "Tong" can easily stand in for any number of characters that are suitable as a first name.
