I'm a rat, and so's my mother. Apparently, I'm a wood rat and she's an earth rat. If nothing else, the question's taught me that there's more to the zodiac than just the animals. While I blame our similarities on upbringing, it must be said that we're a lot more like each other on this than we are when described by Western astrology, where we're two different star signs.
I really need to get a little rat for my charm bracelet to go along with the goats I have. I think it'd be cute.
