New Laptop

redfiona99Am posting on it, as we speak (or type, as the case actually is). It may take some getting used to, but at least Vista isn't throwing me. My Mum's got it on her desktop, so I'm quite used to it already. Not looking forward to having to deal with Office 2007. We've got it on the Windows machines at uni, and it's got it's ... quirks. We'll go with quirks. In particular, finding the functions we know and love, such as 'save as', is a little difficult.
Other than that, I'm not going to do much on this until Friday, because that's when Office 2007 gets put on. I shall, however, download Open Office, because otherwise my supervisor won't be able to read my work.
Our floor is fighting the operator wars, we have the Mac division, the Windows people and the Linux users.
