More on gold medal-winning Thai weightlifter Prapawadee Jaroenrattanatarakoon. We are told the reason she has a long name is that a fortune-telling nun advised the 24-year-old last year to change her name from Chanpim Kantatian to improve her luck. Good call, fortune-telling nun.

The last point of the men's epee final was either 1) brilliant or 2) an example of what not to do in epee. Yet somehow he hit.

The clothing - I am hideously tempted by two skirts in New Look. This one (http://www.newlook.co.uk/1514812/151481209/ProductDetails.aspx) and this one (http://www.newlook.co.uk/1514959/151495949/ProductDetails.aspx) or very similar. Trouble is, they are very mini, and while you can't quite seem my knickers in them, even with tights, it would be a close run thing. But, and especially the kilt type one, so very tempted.
