So Owen is dead. And rancid to the point where canivores won't touch him, even though he's allegedly not going off. He appears to be permently zombified, with the side effect that he can't heal, eat or generally enjoy the more animal pleasures of life.

He does, however, have a happy pink rock.

On the other side we have Jack. Who can't die. And is somewhat responsible for Owen's situation. So, the chances that the season finale might revolve around that are what, 50-50 or better.
