Rome - No God Can Stop A Hungry Man

Half naked James Purefoy may actually shock me straight. Although seeing Octavian having sex is strange and disturbing to me.
Posca and Jocasta are actually a lovely couple, which is unlikely and disturbing. The bit with Jocasta asking Octavia whether that was how they wore their hair in Rome. It's such a sweet detail.
And James Purefoy as Anthony was just perfect, because I can see why the Romans think that he's gone native (on account of how he has) and why he thinks he's justified. He does such a good job of drugged up and dissolute.
And Pullo. Gah! He makes sense even to the once and present housemate. No one could blame him. The throwing Gaia in the cesspit was also so very right.
Vorenus, why didn't you go back to Rome. I also love how they got across that they're not Romans because they're from Rome but because they love Rome, and the disease Vorenus and Anthony are suffering from is home-sickness or Rome-sickness because being exiled is a fate only just short of the death penalty.
So both looking forward to and not looking forward to Sunday's episode.
