redfiona99I know you're not supposed to whinge about feedback, but why must all the feedback from ff.net to my last fic be 'I want more'. I mean, it's cool and all, except the fic's complete and says so. Well that and I'm going to feel a complete fool replying with 'there's no more because I have no idea what happens next'.
For once it's not a lack of plot, I could easily write the plot of the sequel, but I don't think I'd get the characters right.
Because this fic, beyond being me trying to unkill Harry, is based on the last scene of Spiderman 3, where you see Harry and MJ re-united, not because true love conquers all, but because they're the only two people who know what happened. In the fic, the three of them are bound together as much by fear as by love. Fear of what goes wrong if anything changes, because Harry could either remain himself or become the Goblin again, Peter fears that anything he does is going to cause that, and then cause more harm to MJ or Aunt May, and MJ worries that the two of them will fall to pieces without her.
Now the only way of them escaping the situation that they're stuck in is for Peter to leave and that's not going to happen because he's a super-hero and NY is his home-turf.
So any fic I write as a sequel, no matter the plot, is just going to be a re-tread and I don't want to do that.
