Torchwood and the first 15 minutes of Genesis

I'm not sure if it was good or bad, but it was at least interesting, and I'll take that. I loved people's thoughts, especially the random guy thinking about James Bond. And Gwen's perfect girl logic when Owen won't look at her - "It's for the best, this has to stop. Why isn't he looking at me."

The alien CGI varied from quite neat to dreadful as usual. I did like the look of the alien, even if they didn't quite pull it off.

And Ianto's thoughts actually worked and I'm half in love with him for covering up that and pretending to be cheery and 'I'm making coffee, do you want some?' About which more later.

Next week's episode looks to be stonking, and how can I not love an episode entitled 'they keep killing Suzie'?




Because he was talking about how the episode was all about the human capacity for moving on and recovering from that which is terrible and eeee! that's why I love his writing because his characters do all pick themselves up, dust themselves down and carry on, and you all know how much I love characters like that.




I marked out so hard at the opening introductory bit. I mean, how damn scary good did Joe look when he appeared like stalking death behind Angle in that bit.

Who the what the why is going on with Shane (or whatever his name is this week) /Kazarian/Devine? Or rather, what has Raven done to them?

Things that are beyond wrong:
When, due to the blond dye job, you get Micheal Shane confused with Johnny Devine.
When due to the dye job and the star and the entire get up, you can finally maybe see why people might find Micheal Shane attractive.
Finding the whole whipping bit to be strangely arousing, strangely because seperately or together, without the whipping, you don't find Raven or Johnny Devine that attractive, and then, I just kind of did.



What's the turn around time between showing and coming out as a DVD, because I fear I may be forced to buy this on DVD, just for Angle v Samoa Joe.



1 - What the hell are TNA doing with BG James and Billy Gunn, or is it the kind of stupid that leads to head-desking?

2 - If AMW are feuding with LAX, does that mean they're good guys again?
