Sorry about the radio silence

I've not been doing much lately, just work and then home.

Won the Monday (with fencers) pub quiz so have yet more Carling. Yesterday came second in a uni post-grad/staff quiz, so have vouchers for a 3 course meal.

Going fencing tonight. Plan on having put up my yearly list of WIPs on Saturday, and having gone through my fic folder have realised that I have about 3 that would have been finished if I'd dedicated a couple of minutes to them, and did, so there should be some fic posted before Christmas. Mostly old-continuity fics because they've taken that long to finish but still, they shall be posted.



Because finally we have a nominal good guy realising that the rest of the world is more important than 1 person's life. Because it tends to annoy me when people are willing to risk everyone in the world for one person because seriously, it's not worth it.

So yes, well done Jack.

Now however I want to see the beginning of it, because I only managed to catch the last 10 minutes.



Also, for those who are wanting to know, rumour has it there is naked
John Barrowman at the start, which, despite my occasional denials of the attractiveness of men makes me almost as happy as the idea of Krista Loecken (or however one spells her name) and Michelle Rodriguez - http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2006-11-16/#2

But then very few things make me as happy as the idea of Michelle Rodriquez.

YES. OH MY GOD. 'Let's save one person even if it fucks the world to Hell!' Even Buffy got that doesn't work (see end of season 2 :p) and she's...fairly dim.

Do you also share my irrational like for Owen?

And yes, hee! There is no good reason for it, but Owen the slapable is my favourite character.

I feel really bad because 1) I laughed at that scene, 2) I like having "good guys" who, you know, aren't and 3) there are many, many occasions when he's the most useful member of the team.

But my views might be best explained by the fact that I call him Owen the slapable.
