redfiona99No quiz tonight so I've been working on that world cup post. Which is now 5 pages long in Word. Yeah, I have no idea how it got that long, all I know is that I've not even finished talking about the defence yet.
I think part of the trouble is that most people have had at least 10 lines, and a few of them have been used as the base point for some important tangents into the nature of watching the Italian national team and matters of selection and so on.
Edit: finished the defenders off without reaching a sixth page. However, given that the next player I'm going to talk about is Gattuso, I really can't see this work finishing before it's ten pages long.
Edit 2: Looking through 'Calcio Italia' for some back-up stats I unearthed this little gem from Cannavaro after the game v the Czech Republic - "One does struggle a little at the back there, as you want to see the game sealed up early and a little less showboating."
