Exams and TV

Proteins exam went well. I think. It's probably going to be the best exam I sit. I'm kind of worried about the two worst ones - Biochem of gene expression and antimicrobial biochem - being basically back to back, one on Thursday and one on Friday. I'm also worried about the way the Biochem of gene expression exam is going to be set out, if they do it the way Proteins was set out I should be okay, but if they do it the way Cancer Cell did I'm so screwed, and judging from the past papers, I'm screwed.
Which I'm well aware is my own fault for not listening more to two of the lecturers but come on, no one else did either. So my whole class is screwed, which at least makes me hopeful of marks being skewed so not all of us fail.
On to TV
Watched CSI
Or to explain it in the way I tend to - the one with the girl genius who convinced a jury to let her brother off.
Which I enjoyed immensely because, as well all know, if nerds decided to take over the world, we'd all be doomed and this one proved it. I'm also pretty sure I was supposed to be shocked by it rather than applauding her for her ingenuity.
I also quite like it when the TV detectives don't win all the time.
And then the CSI: Miami with Tony Hawks. Which again I found inappropriately amusing, because there's a scene where we see a skateboarder doing some tricks to replace Tony Hawk's character in his job, except it's still blatently him. Seriously.
And then there was Prison Break
Not least of all because Westmoreland would dead with that kind of stomach wound for that long, or at least collapsed. Not that I want that to happen, since I like Westmoreland but still.
I'm kind of interested to see if T-Bag escapes because he's obviously not a nice man and would Micheal want that on his concience, but I can't see it happening because it's US TV.
Their use of Teardrop by Massive Attack was good. Which makes a change.
And Abruzzi is back and blatently up to something.
Can't wait for next week's episodes where it all gets sorted out.
