But I finally watched the second part of the Cybermen two-parter last night and I wish to squee.

In which, for the last time I shall chant "Oh Mickey". For he is gone. Or rather has decided to stay on a parallel Earth to look after his Gran and stop any remaining Cybermen. Mickey saved the day, again, as well. I like how the Doctor doesn't even try and stop him because he understands that Mickey needs to be there.

And how much did I like Alt!Pete Tyler ran away from Rose. Again, and I'm amazed the Doctor didn't brain her at this point, he's not your father. Although it must be said, Cyberman Jackie Tyler was one of those sights that had to be seen.

One thing I did like about the programme was how it was about ordinary people like Rickey, Mrs. Moore and the Blond one, and the bloke that looked like Dennis Taylor that worked for Cybus industries, doing brave things because they had to, not because they were supposed to.

The entire bit from when Mrs. Moore and the Doctor go down into the pipes to the bit where Mrs. Moore dies both rocked and got me. It was good.

I really liked how Lumic didn't want to be a cyberman. And how his suit was subtly different from the others.

I sense this Doctor's refrain is going to be 'I'm sorry'. He does seem to say it a lot. And mean it, and I'm thinking I like him again now. That being said, I do hope they run into someone interesting next week or another suitable companion because when it's just Rose and the Doctor they drive me a little spare.

I also got to see Dr. Who Confidential, and it freaked me out quite a bit to hear how unlike the Doctor David Tennant sounds. It's not just the accent, it's the pitch of the voice and everything too.

Then I got to see Brotherhood of the Wolf. Which I liked immensely, because hello, French film about 18th century wolves with kung fu. What is not to love. Especially since it contains both Mark Dacasos (whose surname I can't spell) and Vincent Cassel. See, I need very little to keep me amused. More discussion about it at some point once I've got my head round it. And seriously, it needs some head getting round. Also, I now really want to see it in French, and with some of the missing scenes put back in, because the British dubbed version is lacking a certain something.

I loved the young Marquis and felt so sad for him at the end, because, it was kind of obvious that his head would roll.

Okay, so admittedly I'm in denial and as far as I'm concerned the Scarlet Pimpernel comes and rescues him off-screen, but yes, it was one heck of an ending because he's taken himself off to a better place, knowing that Fransac and Marianne are safe and happy and far away. So it's really happy and really sad at the same time and I got a bit whammed.

That's it basically.
