Saw House episode "Role Model" and it was good.
Because dude people made sense, Voegler is a business type bastard, Chase deals with things by just dealing with them (and for all that Chase is a rat bastard, he's an understandable rat bastard) and House totally beats Voegler. He's going to suffer for it, mind you, but gosh, what a way to make a statement.
Hugh Laurie's acting just rocks beyond the telling - the scene with him and Wilson near the elevator, his reaction shot in response to 'what makes you think I haven't put the moves on her' was worth a thousand words.
I did spot one thing I thought was a medical mistake - Toxoplasmosis isn't not, on it's own, indicative of AIDS. PCP, which the patient gets later, + Toxoplasmosis + something else that I can't remember right now is. Although all three together can also be got by people with otherwise compromised immune systems. I also loved the way they wrote themselves out of that.
I was really glad the patient didn't die, because he was nice, and decent. I was worried he was going to be one of the infrequent ones that would.
I worry about the way Chase drinks.
Cuddy once again rules in a manner beyond the speaking of it. I want Voegler smashed more for her than House.
Cameron wasn't too annoying for once.
And Foreman is his usual wonderful self.
And in non-spoilery comments
- if anyone knows what the song was at the end of it, I'd be muchly obliged.
- I love House's house, it looks like the kind of place I want to have. Seats, books and just the right sort of mess. And a piano.
All of this presents me with a problem - I'm am probably going to be out next Thursday when House is on. I'm just wondering if I can bribe one of my friends into taping it for me, because if not, Nan will have to and I won't be able to see it till nearly Christmas, which is bad.
