Really quite, quite angry

The ingratitude of some people really amazes me sometimes. And I know getting into the school of your choice shouldn't be a matter of gratitude, but still.
Let me explain.
Our school isn't brilliant, it's okay, but it's the best of a bad bunch, and it's the best in the borough.
So this girl who's only come in at the end and went to another High School before hand (the second worst in the borough) says how terrible our school is, and how much better 2 other neighbouring schools are.
The fact is, they're not. We get a 94% pass rate, the average in our borough is 55%. And 'cause of this, there's like 5 children who want to come in to every place we've got. And she got in, despite being not being the best or the brightest.
And then she gets this whole attitude that we're not good. And I'm like, you knew what it would be like before you joined, you should have gone to one of the others and let someone else come, who might have benifited more from the place.
Part of the problem is that she doesn't like the teachers because they're always on her back because she doesn't hand homework in. Well duh! The school ethos is do your best. Not be brilliant, but do you're best, and she isn't.
Grrrrr!!
