Now that I am able to watch TV again due to cousin being out, I have various things to say.

1) Never really been a Pearl Jam fan, but their new song is very good. I think it's called 'I am Mine'

2) Dear Avril, most of the snobs I know are skaters. Oh and doesn't Skater Boy sound so much like 'I think we're alone now'?

3) Must get the Nickelback live DVD. They're one of the few bands who sound better live. 'Never Again' is brilliant, and probably my favourite off the album, it was also used for the purposes of converting the foolish who didn't like them.

Also to those who think Nickelback are Nirvana rip offs - they sound nothing alike.

It is called "I am Mine". And I never noticed about "Skater Boy" and "I think We're Alone Now", but oi, you're right. Besides, that has to win the prize for worst lyrics ever. "He was a skater boy, she said see ya later boy". Just no.

Also, I do not get how you could say Nickleback sounds like Nirvana. At all.

I think it's her voice more than anything. It's like one of my friends insists that Puddle of Mudd's "She Hates Me" has the same tune as one of the Grease tunes.

But yes, just say no.

I don't get it either, but the mainstream music press hates everything rock so Nickleback were due for an insulting and that's theirs.
