There are times when I hate my brain. It gives me these ideas that all on the same storyline, but doesn't give me the linking bits. And four linked HBP (and one pre-HBP) ficlets is a bit of an odd thing to write. Give me a long fic or give a short fic, brain, but don't give me this bizarrely broken up long fic.



Finally proof that I may be mad. I've read round and a ton of people are saying 'a-ha HBP is proof that Snape was obsessed with Lily' whereas I'm reading it and seeing 'a-ha Snape had/has it bad for Narcissa'. I have problems.

While I admit I've never been much into HP fic, I don't see how HBP proves that Snape was obsessed with Lily. *confused*

So glad it's not just me that's confused. But I tend to live with confusion.

I think it's because they're good at potions, because obviously if someone's good in the same subject as your speciality you're going to be obsessed with them. (quirks eyebrow madly at the HP lunatics.)

So that means Hermione's jealousy at Harry's potions ability thanks to the Prince was really lust in disguise, right? *Also quirks eyebrow* Shippers are funny people. My approach with wrestling was to imagine 'ships as I wanted them and not spend much time looking for canonical justification for them. =)
