redfiona99It looks like some of the choice has been taken away from me by genetics department incompetance. This makes me happy - less choosing = happy Red.
Unfortunately the genetics department and the biochem dept seem to be at war and I'm the present battleground. Am v.v. scared.
Labour got in but with a reduced majority. I can live with that. Lib Dems got 61 seats - best result for a liberal party of any kind since 1929. Charlie is our darling, our darling
Nearly had voting power in the Students Union General Meeting, and I don't just mean my usual student voting power, I mean Union Council type voting power. One of them didn't turn up and in an attempt at reaching quoracy I got told I could vote for her because I'm female and I know some of the Elections and Rules committee. But we didn't achieve quoracy so I didn't get to vote.
Also cheated and put myself down as a socialist student which means they keep there grant since we had 3 Amnesty bods and they only had 1. Admittedly they had 3 people there but 2 of them don't count because they're on union council. Oh the joys of Student's Union rules and regs.
