Before anyone sets the RSPCA or equivalent organisations my bunny is a bean bunny, basically a microwave-heatable hot water bunny equivalent that I have named Floppsy. That being said it still looks very weird.

Unfortunately there are to be no amusing revision week anecdotes because nothing amusing happened, I really did spend the whole thing revising.

Execpt for finally writing the two remaining drabbles from the 'challenge me' thing I did two Christmases ago. So first I would like to apologies to Joanne and Lizzie who these are for for taking such a long time.

On with the slightly oversized drabbles

in response to Joanne's Willem Dafoe anything goes challenge.

Rating: PG
Characters: Norman Osbourne, his wife Emily (yes, I looked it up) and Harry, plus Spidey and Mary Jane.

His wife was the only woman who had mattered to him, maybe he hadn't always been there for her, but he had loved her and that's what he wanted for Harry. Someone who didn't mind being a shoulder to cry on, or the way Emily never objected to his moodswings. Emily who would send him off in the morning thinking that everything was right with the world. He thought that Harry had found that in Mary Jane, nice girl despite her family, but Parker stole her, even if Harry didn't know that, exactly, yet.

And Parker turned out to be the incy-wincy spider, down would come the Goblin to wipe the spider out. He'd get Harry his Emily back and, without Spiderman, everything would be all right.

It has to be said that due to revision I mis-spellt Goblin as Globin the first time I wrote this.

in response to Lizzie's post-X2 challenge.
Rating: PG
Characters: Logan, Scott and the lack of Jean. Not entirely sure what's going on with this one.

He held Scott as he cried tears that were as salty as Alkali Lake smelt. But he'd never be Jean.

He rold Scott that Jean had picked Scott over himself. It seemed to be important even while it didn't matter. It didn't bring back Jean.

He knew Xavier was up to something, just didn't know what, maybe he had a clone Jean that was just growing. But a clone would never be Jean, if Mystique, in all her glory, couldn't manage it no one could.

They covered Jean's lessons as best they could, well Scott did, he got given Scott's technology lessons since, while there was no evidence he'd ever even graduate high school, he knew about engines. The kids tried not to hurt Scott's feelings, when asked, his lessons were "different" from Miss Grey's.

He tried to be decent to Scott, originally for her sake, eventually just because having another guy about who wasn't a telepath was nice. But he'd never be Jean and neither would Scott.

That's all folks.

Very nice little drabble and an interesting insight into the Goblin/Norman's mind. I can see that, yes.

And I liked the X2 one as well.

Thank you very much. Sorry it wasn't more het or slash but I suddenly realised that I hadn't seen that many films with Willem Dafoe in.
