King of the Mountain
Jan. 3rd, 2005 01:01 amBut first happy birthday to me. I got some money, and book tokens and Return of the King EE so I'm all happy. And a meal at my favourite restaurant which makes it even better.
But now for TNA thoughts
Oh dear, I'm agreeing with Raven - why are they asking AJ about strategy?
Frankie Kazarian v Amazing Red - I'm counting this as TNAs present for my birthday.
Damn Amazing Red is young.
Code Red is cool move.
Gutcheck matches are an interesting concept, kinda stupid if you think about them, but interesting.
Got to love Scott Hudson having to shout "D-Ray! The ring is this way!"
Abyss with a chain around his neck does bad, bad, bad things to me.
Unfortunately what Abyss does to D-Ray's hair is what way too many people do to mine.
Dude Eric Watts is tall! I mean really, I didn't notice till he was standing next to Abyss and was taller than him, (or as tall since Abyss was hunching a little)
And now on TNA Law - possession is 9/10ths of ownership.
What is Dusty on? And can I have a Dusty to English translator 'cause his English isn't any that I understand.
Poor Russo having to deal with Goldylocks.
Who am I supposed to be cheering for in Kid Kash & Dallas v James Storm & Dusty Rhodes since Storm is half of AMW but I like Kash far more than Dusty.
The look of utter hero worship on Storm's face is adorable.
It was a well worked match.
James Storm in a cowboy hat does good things for me. Not that I have a cowboy fetish or anything.
Dallas makes it look like James Storm isn't tall (is shocked)
Yes Jarrett, of course you don't have an ego.
He's right, while Raven might be able to outthink him, the others definitely can't.
I may be cheering for Chris Harris but AJ being all cocky on the ladder is fun. Actually AJ being cocky full stop is fun.
His jump over the penalty box was wow!
The ladder shot with Raven pushing the ladder over onto Styles looked evil.
Raven and Jarrett plotting together scares me.
Dear Chris Harris, when all you have to do is get the belt to the top of the ladder and hook it up, don't drop the belt you dolt! He does look so very tired though. Loved the look on his face when he realised that Raven was in the cage and this meant a chance for revenge.
That's a brilliant plan of Raven and Jarrett's. AJ's idea of jumping onto the ladder was less so - ouch!
While I love the concept of the match, especially the penalty box, the whole having someone hold the belt but does give a far too large possibility of a screwy ending.
That was yet another ouchy hit that AJ took. Mind being a bit more careful with him.
Come on Wildcat! Would people stop throwing powder at him.
Dear Russo, please don't give Jarrett a reason to complain. And what happened to you playing it straight down the line, that line is looking decidedly wobbly now (not that I blame you it's just a point).
I hate Jarrett's guitar and his guitarshots- actually, this is confession time, Jarrett was the first heel I actively disliked just because of the guitarshots, particularly when they were done to Chyna. It also didn't help that I used to watch Quick Draw McGraw as a child so every time he did it I wanted to yell 'El Kabong' at the TV. So yeah, that all comes flashing back violently everytime he hits someone with a guitar, and still don't like it.
Oops, I hit verbose again.
And the icon is apt once more.

HAHAHAHAHA! I haven't seen the KotM PPV, so this is all news to me, but hahahaha. Asking AJ strategy. God, that's hilarious.

Yeah, but they're so painful to watch.
Dude Eric Watts is tall!
Dood, yeah, he's ultra freakin' tall.
Yes Jarrett, of course you don't have an ego.
Hahahahahaha.
AJ being cocky full stop is fun.
Mmmmm, AJ. I miss AJ as a heel, because as a heel, he was a cocky jerk, hence he had a personality and therefore fun. As a face, he's usually generic go-get-'em face, which is boring. *sigh*
And what happened to you playing it straight down the line, that line is looking decidedly wobbly now
Hahaha, did he favor AJ yet again? Because Russo seriously does not play it straight down the line yo. He ALWAYS sides the line toward AJ. Mwahahahha. *coff*

>>HAHAHAHAHA! I haven't seen the KotM PPV, so this is all news to me, but hahahaha. Asking AJ strategy. God, that's hilarious.<< It's not brilliant but since I get it free I think it behooves me to watch it.

And how.

This is true. I'm kind of confused as to what he is at the moment (or what is the moment over here) since he's being really snarky about Chris Harris, which makes him a heel in my book at least, and being all cock and 'I am the man who can' but at the same time he's fighting with Jarrett and Raven who are the uber-bad guys so that theoretically makes him a good guy. Damn it's confusing.

Not so much favouring AJ as disfavouring (if that's even a word) Jarrett. In the match if someone who had qualified by pinning someone else got the ladder up beneath the hook for the belt Russo would hand them the belt and they'd try to climb up the ladder to hook in up. Now when Jarrett put up the ladder he motioned to Russo to bring it and Russo looked at the belt and just wouldn't move. And Jarrett was getting all annoyed and then a white shorted flash of doom (can't remember if it was AJ or Chris Harris) got out of the penalty box and knocked Jarrett over and pinned him.
Then again the look on Russo's face when Jarrett won despite all of that was a classic.
Are you attempting to sneak Russo/AJ - ness onto my LJ? ;)

Date: 2005-01-10 08:10 am (UTC)Yes, yes it does. I heard that TWC landed some more TV deals with TNA, so yes, watch watch watch!
Damn it's confusing.
-_- Tell me about it. I think he was still technically face then, but add to his tweener status by mixing it up with Russo. I mean, Russo was a supposed face then, too, but Russo, like Vince, is automatically heel, so... yeah. Confusion galore.
Are you attempting to sneak Russo/AJ - ness onto my LJ? ;)
Of course not! *halo!*
