redfiona99I need to find a way of merging my icons because while I am depressed about various RL things (such as not getting the industrial placement I wanted) I am manically happy in other matters.
Jools was great last night. kd Lang was on which always makes me happy. And MC Solaar (Senegalese French rapper, so very good.) And a shiny new band called The Bravery who sound like a not as good Franz Ferdinand and are edible.
I also have a very bad idea floating around my brain. I was reading on someone's LJ about the idea of switching the gender of a character in a TV show, and what effect that would have on the dynamics of both the show and any fic. So of course my brain jumped to Florton and Evolution in general (re: various people on message boards saying that Evolution wouldn't work with a female member).
And since Ric just doesn't work as a female I now have Brandy Orton floating about trying to make write fic.
I am also not writing another fic in the Kisses series, well not in it, more of an explanation of some of the crazy. Basically my brain needs fumigating to get rid of demanding muses. Or one particular one anyway.
And as a question, what do you label a fic if the fic is gen but there is mention of one of the male character's relationship with another man. Mainly 'cause I'm trying to write Enterprise fic and it's all about Trip being a good friend and offering Reed a shoulder to cry on, or what have you, when Major Hayes gets killed.

And to me, that's gen. But right now I'm a bit paranoid post the response I got in reply to the POTC fic I posted yesterday, apparently it's not long enough and Commodore Norrington would never, ever be able to catch up with Captain Jack Sparrow, not that he doesn't catch him twice in the film. Captain Jack is not uncatchable, and Norrington does know his way around a boat, he's a Commodore for fish's sake.
