Doctor Who was deeply cool. Not as scary as some would suggest, but that is, I think because it didn't set off any of my fear triggers (see this post for details - http://redfiona99.livejournal.com/329972.html#cutid1) ( But still deeply cool )
So, in short (because what's under that cut is seriously long), I liked this episodes guest Humans a lot, and I worry about them. And the Ood, I was very fond of the Ood.
CSI: New York "The Supermen" (Season 2, episode 19) was also stonkingly good. ( Spoilers )
Daredevil
Was not as bad as expected. I mean seriously, what did Ben Affleck do to annoy the critics that much that they panned this for no good reason. Although Daredevil, the character, reminded me why I like Batman, I like my costumed freaks to be actual freaks when they're out of costume, Matt Murdock is unnervingly normal.
I really liked Joe Pantaliano's character, yay for investigative journalists.
Bullseye reminded me oddly of the Kurgan, in the way he really did live for killing and chaos and all the bad things. And Kingpin was the same, evil through and through (although I willing to put money on Welsey being the journalist's inside source. Interesting casting though, given what the Kingpin looks like in the comics. But that's because Michael Clarke Duncan is fabulous and therefore should be cast in everything.
As to my filthy housemate, she is officially never allowed to complain about my mess again, given that she left a used sanitary towel (in a bag thankfully) in the bathroom. Seriously, she complains, I will bitch back this time.
