Anyone who's seen 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' might guess why I'm practically unable to type that without cracking up.

It was very good. Great fun in fact, and had one of the best closing curtains I've ever seen. And the New York set design was great.

Plus, I was practically in love with Jimmy from the first time he appeared.

Unfortunate downside (only joking) is that Mum's been serenading me with 'My Mammy' all day.

Also, Opera, you might like it, because Millie is the kind of naive character who gets up and does things anyway that you've always expressed an affection for.

Then I watched 2 episodes of 'NCIS' back to back. Reason number 4 why I like this show, when Kate asked Gibbs what Ducky looked like when he was younger, Gibbs replied with "Like Ilya Kuryakin". (Which okay, is amusing only if you know that Ducky is played by David McCallum who also played Ilya Kuryakin.)

Also I saw episode 1x24 "Revaille" again. And if you ignore the hot foreign-ness of Ari, he's how I imagine Snape's character, re - certain events at the end of HBP. As in )
