In happier thoughts, how happy did Kelly Holmes look. This makes me very happy. As does the decathlon but that always makes me happy. The sportsmanship in one of the super-heavyweight boxing bouts also makes me joyous.

Actually most of the other things in the Olympics make me very happy indeed. As does the possibility of getting the Times tomorrow. Simon Barnes ought to be able to come up with something interesting out of this.
