Finally one of my La Res fics looks to be nearly finished. It's only been being written since the draft! Of course, there is one hold up. As per usual it's the sex scene. Or rather the masturbation scene. I'm discovering rather quickly that I can't write a male masturbation scene because I don't know what's involved. Male equipment remains a mystery to me.
Actually on that subject, would someone explain to me how jockstraps work?

Under a different alias I'm kind of betaing for someone who is stuck as to where to go next and she's asking me for advice. The problem is that I know any suggestions I make are going to be cliched, because a lot of my ideas are. I mean, when I'm trying to write original fiction it comes out as either bad sci-fi fantasy or bad Mills and Boon/Harlequin romance type things. I'd love to be able to come up with something different, a new take on things but I seem to be unable to. This vexes me somewhat.
