Despite every reasonable thought in my brain telling me not to watch it I did. And it was fun.
It was also the reason for the phrase 'too many flashbacks'.
And Edge wasn't too bad. Quite good in fact. And he can do an Irish accent better than certain actors who actually get paid to do one occasionally.
I do wish the main bad guy could have found an accent and stuck with it. And different lines that didn't sound like bad slash.
Not helped by the film having the worst match-up of sound and picture that I've ever seen. Really quite dreadful.
But the swordfights were decent, and I got a kick out of seeing both McCleods. And goggling at quite how different they were. Ducan being all heroic and Connor being not. For very good reasons. But I like them both so I'm happy.
Methos was nothing like expected. Mainly because he didn't sound like I expected. This is my own stupid fault for believing fanfic.
And Dawson, the Watcher, was really quite scary.
Long ramble short, it's a fun flick, nothing more.
