Jerry Lynn v Tajiri - okay, why did nobody tell me that Tajiri used to be all young and sweet and wear dorky shorts? Have to admit I prefer look '03, however cute he looked. Good match.
Super Nova v Rod Price - Nova is officially the world's least co-ordinated dancer. And I shan't even dicuss the awfulness of his outfit in this. He reminds me rather oddly of HBK.
There was random Lance. And Dawn Marie being all ditzy and could someone remind me why WWE aren't using her. For anyone who's seen it or knows what's going on, why is Storm wearing a Jericholic t-shirt?
Possibly this is just me but even hearing Storm say the word steroid hits a special level of wrong. I ought to have guessed where this was going the minute the sample was presented. Cool quote though, "Storm is pissed off, a minute ago he was pissed on." And Dawn Marie being all, no I don't want to touch him, but I have to try and bring him round and outraged and yup this sentance has too many 'and's.
The Super Crazy match was both of those things. Why is he not world famous and huge and a millionaire when Mark Henry of all people is headlining RAW?! There's a level of not fair involved in that. Such a good match.
Taka! How I have missed him. And Papi Chulo/Essa Rios, I really have missed a lot. The reaction for Taka was immense. Now how come he was big in ECW and a comedy item in WWE, oh yeah, Vince is an idiot.
(I have nothing against Vince McMahon and WWE most of the time, except when it comes to cruiserweights)
The Michinoku driver is still a vicious move. A proper close my eyes and yell OMG don't do that sort of move.
RVD v Too Cold Scorpio - was odd. Could someone explain to me Bill Alphonso and his whistle. Especially the whistle since I ended up coming up with interesting places to stick it. I really hope RVD and him were supposed to be the heel end of this equation because otherwise they were driving me nutty for no good reason.
Steve Corino - so good at snivelly bad guy. And his speech. He amuses me. And the ref's reaction to him being given a mic was priceless too.
Crikey Taz used to be muscley. And scary. Really quite scary. First sign this is ECW, a 5'6' guy is world champion. And being good at it, Vince.
Chris Candido looked far too much like a Shawn Stasiak fed on nothing but beef since birth for anyone's good. And Tammy Lynn Synch - well I'd like to give a reasonable comment but the only thing that's happening is she hot, and I really must stop looking at her gearbox. Not really my fault the camera man kept focusing on it. And she can act.
Shane Douglas v Justin Credible - with added Jazz. She's so cool. And Francine much though she needs to be fed something was also cool. This was a chop fest. Really more than Benoit v Flair would be. Ye gads I think I might miss Credible as well. And then there was more Lance. Plus Dawn Marie draped all over Jazz in a way that made me think of Darla and Dru, not that I miss Buffy as much as wrestling, not at all ;)
The Steel Cage Match at the end was the only actively bad thing on the DVD, but then again it stated the words Axl Rotten and Steel Cage so I presumed it would be bloody and it's not my thing. I suppose if it is your thing it was quite good. Most unnecessarily bloody.
Joey Styles, other than looking exactly how I picture the Riddler looking, I'm undecided on. I think it's a little bit of culture shock, I'm so used to Michael Cole and Tazz now. But he does say some decidedly cool things.
