Hee! Just back from seeing 'Twelfth Night'. So very good. Lots of tumbling about and slapstick that lots of other people didn't like. Because of course being a comedy there shouldn't have been slapstick.

These people are obviously idiots.

If you just want to hear the text, get a copy of the play and read it. If I go, I want to see the play being performed.

Plus, il Duderino himself, Bill Shakespeare, he would have had slapstick too.

But yes, you know the subtext in the play, they made it text.

And my oh my was the guy who played Antonio good looking. Plus he was all lean and muscled and did I say yummy.

But of course as always I went ga-ga over Duke Orsino. I always go ga-ga over him. Because yes, there is a dude I can understand. Especially his over the top dramatics.

That something I've always wondered, I always tend to identify more with male characters than female characters, is it because they're better written or because I understand them better? Any views welcomed.

But yes, everything was wonderful and alive and vital. Just how Shakespeare ought to be.

So I'm all happy and buzzing, even though I am stupendously tired. But that's a uni downside.
