So I was looking at the official Republican party manifesto, and I expected to be upset, angry and annoyed, but not this much. My objections are written inbetween the -'s

~~~~
Now we will bring it to completion: U.S. leadership of a global economy without limits to growth.
- I think my objection to this is pretty obvious. Hello, the rest of the world doesn't want to be lead.-
We must secure America’s competitive advantage in the New Economy by preventing other countries from erecting barriers to innovation.
-guess what, the rest of the world doesn't want Monsanto products. We have objections, mostly unfounded I'll admit, to the whole thing. Let us be.-
That will depend on American leadership, which has been lacking for the last eight years.
-guess why people loved Clinton. He left us alone.
The vitality of that agenda depends upon the vigorous enforcement of U.S. trade laws against unfair competition. We will not tolerate the foreign practices, rules, and subsidization that put our exports on an unequal footing.
-ah yes Mr. Bush, American doesn't put trade tariffs on other nation's goods at all, does it.
Take action against any trading partner that uses pseudo-science to block importation of U.S. bioengineered crops.
-again. People don't want Monsanto products. Deal with this.-
Today’s Republican party stands in the proud tradition of Teddy Roosevelt, the first president to stress the importance of environmental conservation.
-two words, Kyoto agreement -
In the last eight years the administration has squandered the opportunity granted to the United States by the courage and sacrifice of previous generations:
With weak and wavering policies toward Russia, the administration has diverted its gaze from corruption at the top of the Russian government, the slaughter of thousands of innocent civilians in Chechnya, and the export of dangerous Russian technologies to Iran and elsewhere.
-okay, I realise this was written before Bush became President, and before he became best pals with Putin, but still, you don't tell the Russians what to do. Chechnya is a bad situation, and I must say I admire Bush's administration for raising the point, but you have to play nice with them because they're on the security council.-
A humanitarian intervention in Somalia was escalated thoughtlessly into nation-building at the cost of the lives of courageous Americans.
- okay, basic politics, you cannot intervene and try to prevent it happening again unless one helps the people themselves to form some sort of country that will withstand the threats of dictators-
Standing alongside our allies, we seek a NATO that is strong, cohesive, and active. The next Republican president will give consistent direction on the alliance’s purpose, on Europe’s need to invest more in defense capabilities, and, when necessary, on acting jointly with the United States in military conflict.
-yup. Tell us what to do, and to invest in the military. Which would be fine if people wanted to join anymore. I know about 10 people who have joined or are joining military organisation, and ten out 392 is not enough.-
We seek greater cooperation within NATO to deal with the geopolitical problems of the Middle East and Eurasia.
-one problem with that. The NATO countries never agree on anything so far as this, or anything else, is concerned. Germany tends to support Israel, France supports the Palestinians and for the others it depends on who is in power.-
I love America, its a beautiful country and the people rock, but the Republican party make me want to indulge in some primal screaming.
And that is why he killed endangered species for sport.
