Film Survey doing the rounds
Oct. 15th, 2002 12:11 amFavorite Musical: My Fair Lady
Favorite Foreign Film: La Cage Aux Folles, I'm not sure. I tend to like a lot of them.
Favorite Song from a Musical: Singing In The Rain
Favorite Film Score: Gladiator or The Third Man
Favorite Film Title: (Kind of discounts book titles and name of character titles) Things To Do In Denver When Your Dead
Worst Film Title: Scrooged
Favorite Film Character: Damn, most of mine are from adaptations, but if they're allowed: Horatio (Hamlet) or any member of The Three Musketeers. If not, Cicero (Gladiator), Holly Marteans (Third Man) and Captain Renault (Casablanca)
Least Favorite Film Character: Lurtz, Commodous, the evil jock in Edward Scissorhands, Tyrell in Blade Runner
Favorite Opening Credit Sequence: Goldfinger
Favorite Beginning from a Film: Face/Off takes some beating, or the hat flying away in Miller's Crossing
Favorite Ending from a Film: Con Air (I'm a sap, it makes me cry), the very end of Gladiator with Juba burying the figures (also makes me cry)
Favorite Film Trailer: The Two Towers.
Favorite Performance by an Actor or Actress in a Film: Kenneth Branagh (Hamlet/ Henry V)
Favorite Film Scene of All-time: Since saying every single frame of LOTR would be a little OTT (though true), something like the rooftop scene at the end of Blade Runner is also fantastic.
Favorite Film Quote of All-time: "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
