The 6 hour long Windows update this weekend has thrown everything out.

Architecture:

London's Garden Bridge project officially abandoned - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-40921373 From 2017, but it still makes me sad. I know the plan was unworkable but I like the idea of the Garden Bridge.

Big Ben's bongs to fall silent until 2021 for repairs - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-40922169 From 2017.

History:

How department stores changed the way we shop - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-40448607

Law and Order:

Taylor Swift's court sketch: A misunderstood art - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40909553 Not about T. Swift at all, it's about court sketches.

Miscellaneous:

Me and my scar: It took me 45 years to love my body - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-40862546

Music:

Pineapples banned by Reading and Leeds Festivals - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-40923473 From 2017

Social Media:

Disruption is over - and Facebook won - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-40922041 From 2017, an example of one of two perennial BBC articles about social media. 1 - shiny new product that will challenge Facebook, and win. 2 - shiny new product has not won, and therefore nothing will ever beat Facebook. I suspect both kinds of article are bunk.

Sport:

Boxer, 14: 'I'm not knocked by social media bullies' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-40923919

Athletics:

World Championships 2017: Why athletics is still worth fighting for - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/40920004
